Game 2 is Thursday night (7 p.m. ET) at Madison Square Garden.
Between the first and second overtime periods on Tuesday, Louis Domingue, the Pittsburgh Penguins' backup goalkeeper, was hungry, so he raided the dressing room for some food that had been set aside for the postgame buffet.

Domingue described the dish as "spicy pork and broccoli." "It's not very good."
It didn't appear to be the finest dinner for a goalkeeper who had to jump from the chair he was sitting on in the Zamboni entrance minutes later for 4 1/2 periods of Stanley Cup Playoff hockey so he could enter the game in the middle of the second overtime period.
But there was certainly something magical about the lunch.
With a full stomach, Domingue made 17 saves after replacing Casey DeSmith with 10:42 remaining in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference First Round at Madison Square Garden, and the Penguins won 4-3 in the third overtime.
At 5:58, Evgeni Malkin scored the game-winning goal. The best-of-seven series continues on Thursday with Game 2.
Domingue stated, "Quite honestly, I felt good right immediately." "There was no pressure on me. You fantasize about it your entire life. In the playoffs, you're playing in overtime. You're kidding, right? You'd think coming into a situation like that would be nerve-wracking, but it was actually a lot of fun for me."
It's unclear whether Domingue will play in Game 2. After the game, Penguins coach Mike Sullivan said DeSmith was being evaluated for a lower-body issue.
"We'll see how things go moving forward," Sullivan added, "but Casey is out right now." "His situation is fluid. We'll see what occurs, what we get tomorrow, and make decisions based on that information."
Because the Penguins are without their No. 1 goalkeeper, Tristan Jarry, who has been sidelined since April 14 due to a lower-body injury, Domingue was the backup goalie for Game 1.
Jarry isn't available in Game 2. He hasn't started skating yet.
So Domingue might be in net for his first NHL playoff appearance and fourth overall since the start of last season.
This season, Domingue, the Penguins' No. 3 goalkeeper, only appeared in two NHL games. He spent the majority of the season with the American Hockey League's Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.
"Louis," Malkin added, "is incredible to me." "He's a giant (6-foot-3, 208 pounds). He moves quickly. In practice, it's difficult to score on Louis."
The Penguins should have more faith in Domingue now following the way he came through for them in a time of need.
Sullivan added, "I think Louis did a fantastic job." "When you've been sitting on the bench for so long, that's not an easy assignment. It's difficult enough in a typical game, let alone with the added time we had. He sat on the bench for quite some time."
Domingue was seated in the corner near the Zamboni entrance since he was thrown off the bench early in the game, according to him.
He laughed as he said, "Not a lot of room." "I suppose the tickets are more expensive because the bench was cut because of the glass."
It's difficult to sit on the other side of the glass in that position.
"I'd be lying if I said I was always engaged," Domingue admitted. "When you're a fan, there comes a period when all you want is for your team to score. I was only there to observe. It just slams on you like a ton of bricks."
Domingue stated he didn't understand why the refs sounded the whistle to stop play when he initially saw DeSmith skate over to the bench.

DeSmith didn't realize it was his time for his second NHL playoff game until he started skating in his direction and the Zamboni doors swung open. In a 4-2 loss to the Washington Capitals in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Final on May 7, 2018, he made seven saves in relief for the Tampa Bay Lightning.
"I knew both of the referees who were there, Jonny Murray and Frederick L'Ecuyer, both French people, and I honestly thought they were joking when they said I had to go in," Domingue explained.
"After that, you simply go out and have fun. It was bizarre, but then again, that's my life. It's hockey, after all."
Four seconds after entering the game, he made a stop on Rangers defenseman Adam Fox and kept the puck in his gut.
"You need a shot in the stomach to get into a game like that," Domingue remarked.
Malkin completed the 4-hour, 38-minute marathon Game 1 with a deflection of defenseman John Marino's shot from the point, which Domingue made 13 more saves in the second overtime and three more in the third overtime.
