Integrated mobile app for TNPSC:- Minister proposes an integrated mobile app for TNPSC and competitive test candidates.
Palanivel Thiaga Rajan, the state finance and human resources management minister said to the Assembly on Saturday that the Tamil Nadu government will launch an integrated mobile app for the convenience of TNPSC and competitive exam hopefuls. According to the Minister, the app will include information on the syllabus, certificate verification, interviews, and results, in addition to key notifications.
He stated while wrapping up a debate on his department's request for funds that it will provide information on TNPSC recruitment, Teachers Recruitment Board (TRB), Medical Services Recruitment Board, and Tamil Nadu Forest Uniformed Services Recruitment Committee (TNFUSRC).
"This effort would receive about Rs 20 lakh," Thiaga Rajan added. He stated that feasibility studies will be conducted for the Chennai Metro Rail Project Phase-II, which will include an extension of corridor-3 from Siruseri to Kelambakkam and from Kelambakkam to Kelambakkam bus terminal via Mambakkam and Vandalur, as well as an extension of corridor-4 from Poonamallee bypass to Sriperumbudur and an extension of corridor-5 from Thirumangalam to Avadi.
Chennai's urban transportation systems will be linked when Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) takes over the management and maintenance of the Mass Rapid Transit System (MRTS) from Southern Railway, he said. In addition, in partnership with the Southern Train, a feasibility study will be done on deploying air-conditioned coaches in the Chennai suburban railway system, specifically from Chennai Beach to Chengalpattu.
The Integrated Financial and Human Resources Management System (IFHRMS) and Treasury System will be upgraded as part of an initiative to ensure the proper use of public funds and intends to make the audit system more robust and effective. He claims that this will make tracking funds flow to other departments and agencies easier, as well as strengthen the audit system and increase accountability and productivity.
