The first way of obtaining 1110 or essentially infinite lives is at “Koopa Troopa Cave”, located in the second level of World
HOW TO GET 1110 Lives FAST in Super Mario 3D World +
1. Play as any character, move towards the warp pipe, passing the Koopa Troopa. Head down in the warp pipe and you will enter the underground. Move towards the clear pipe and transverse to the upper floor. Move pass the Koopa Troopa and enter the second clear pipe reaching the other side. Then jump down and take out the Goomba down below. Now, back track towards the Koopa Troopa on the lower floor. Jump on him and take his Green Shell and carry it towards these 3 blocks.
Position yourself toward the wall and release the Green Shell. You want to time your first jump onto the Green Shell as it ricochet back at you. Mario or the character you are playing as will automatically jump as the Green Shell bounce between the walls. Reaching 1110 lives will take some time and you won’t reach it on the first go as timer will run out. I suggest you rack up the maximum number of lives permitted by time and reenter this same level and repeat the process. You will know you hit 1000 lives when you receive the first crown next to your character icon on the top left. Second crown indicates 100 lives on top of the 1000 lives you obtained.
Then the third and last crown shows that you have racked up a max total of 1110 lives. The next method takes you to “Sunshine Seaside”, which is the 1st level in World 5. Make your way through the level full of Koopa Troopa and groups of Biddybuds. Travel through the clear pipe and you are greeted with a group of 3 Koopa Troopa. Here you will need to jump onto one of the Koopa Troopa and grab ahold of its Green Shell. With it, head towards the beach shore in the background, there is a lower level you will fall to safely.
Using your character’s silhouette as a guide, control your character to move toward the foreground of the hidden sand dune tunnel with the Key Coin. Here you will perform a similar maneuver as the first method. Position your character to face either side of the tunnel. Release the Green Shell and quickly jump onto it as it ricochet back at you. If you timed it correctly, your character will auto jump the Green Shell.
Don’t worry if you get hit first and become small, because it is actually easier to perform this move as the small version of your character. Keep at it, and you will rack up those 1-up fast.
