It is a fictional story about two Indian revolutionaries, Aluri Sitaram Raju (Charan) and Komaram Bhim (Rama Rao), who fought against the British Raj and Nizam of Hyderabad, respectively.
The film was officially announced in March 2018, the film was launched in Hyderabad in November 2018 and the main photography started. The film was shot extensively across India, with a few sequences in Ukraine and Bulgaria. The soundtrack and background score of the film is MM. Written by Kiravani and cinematography by K. K. Senthil Kumar and A. Edited by Srikar Prasad. Sabu Cyril is the production designer of the film whereas V. Srinivas Mohan oversaw the visual effects.
The RRR movie budget of ₹ 5.5 billion (the US $ 72 million), RRR was originally scheduled for theatrical release on July 30, 2020, but was delayed more than once due to production delays and subsequent COVID-19 epidemics. The film was released in theaters on March 25, 2022, and was critically acclaimed for its performance and screenplay. With ₹ 240 crores worldwide on its first day, RRR broke the record for the highest opening-day collection achieved by an Indian film. RRR movie release date in Hindi: RRR was scheduled to have its special premiere across India and the United States on March 24, 2022, before being released to world theaters on March 25. Earlier, it was supposed to be released in theaters on July 30, 2020. However, in February 2020, the release date was revised to 8 January 2021, one week before the revision festival (14 January 2021). The release of the film was postponed due to the COVID-19 epidemic lockdown, which disrupted production.
